A Chromebook is a different kind of computer. It runs on Google's web-based Chrome OS, which is designed to be used with an Internet connection. Most of Chromebook's documents and apps exist in the cloud. And Google automatically provides 100 GB of cloud storage for every Chromebook.
This guide will show you how to get started with a Chromebook computer.

Turn on your chromebook

Follow the screen instructions to choose your language, keyboard and network.

Sign in with your Google Account

Also choose a profile picture.

Launch Apps

At the bottom of the screen there's the Shelf - this is an area with shortcuts for your most used apps.
Click the App Launcher icon in the left-bottom corner of the screen to see all the apps installed on your computer.

View status and settigs

Click on your profile picture on the bottom-right corner to launch the status app.
You can see information like network connection, battery status, settings and more.
